Love is more than a value—it’s our identity. We seek to be a community where people feel welcomed, supported, and deeply loved. At Tulare Apostolic Church, relationships are built on grace, compassion, and the selfless love modeled by Jesus.

We are committed to living out the values of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to love God, love others, and share the good news of Jesus Christ.
“God is love.” – 1 John 4:8
We believe love is the foundation of everything we do. Because God first loved us, we show His love to others through kindness, forgiveness, and compassion. Our goal is not just to say we love God, but to demonstrate His love daily to our families, our church, and our community.
“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” – John 4:24
We worship with passion and freedom through singing, dancing, prayer, and giving. Worship is not limited to a Sunday service; it’s a lifestyle of surrender that draws us closer to God and invites His presence into every part of our lives.
“For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister.” – Mark 10:45
We are called to serve others as Jesus did with humility and compassion. Whether in our church, our city, or beyond, we seek to be the hands and feet of Jesus, meeting needs and shining His light in practical ways.
“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” – Mark 16:15
We are a church on a mission sharing the message of salvation through Jesus Christ beyond the four walls. Through outreach, missions, and personal witness, we bring the Good News to our neighborhoods, cities, and nations.
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…” – Matthew 28:19
We are committed to growing in God’s Word and helping others do the same. Through Bible studies, mentoring, and teaching, we equip believers to walk in truth, live in holiness, and fulfill God’s purpose for their lives.
“Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” – 1 Corinthians 4:2
Everything we have belongs to God. We honor Him by being faithful with our time, talents, and treasure giving tithes and offerings with joy, managing our resources wisely, and using our gifts to build His Kingdom.
“Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” – Ephesians 4:3
We believe the Church is one body with many members. We walk together in love, humility, and peace valuing every person and working together for the purpose of Christ. Unity brings power and reveals the heart of God to the world.
“Be ye holy; for I am holy.” – 1 Peter 1:16
Holiness is not just an appearance but a lifestyle. We are set apart for God living with purity, modesty, and integrity in all we do. Through the power of the Holy Ghost, we reflect the character of Jesus in our words, actions, and attitudes.
“Ye shall be witnesses unto me… unto the uttermost part of the earth.” – Acts 1:8
Our mission is to make Jesus known locally and globally. Empowered by the Holy Ghost, we are sent to reach the lost, heal the hurting, and proclaim the gospel of salvation in Jesus Name, fulfilling His call to reach every soul.
We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.
We are Apostolic in doctrine and Pentecostal in experience.
We follow the faith and teachings of the Apostles — repentance, baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues (Acts 2:38).
We believe in living a holy and separated life, empowered by the Spirit, and in continuing steadfastly in the Apostles’ doctrine and fellowship (Acts 2:42).
We are not merely a denomination — we are the continuation of the original Church founded by Jesus Christ and established in the book of Acts.
We believe there is only one true and living God (Deuteronomy 6:4), who has revealed Himself as the Father in creation, the Son in redemption, and the Holy Ghost in regeneration. These are not three persons, but three manifestations of the same one God, whose name is Jesus Christ (Colossians 2:9).
As the Father, He is the Creator of all things (Ephesians 4:6; Malachi 2:10).
As the Son, He became flesh to redeem humanity (John 1:14; 1 Timothy 3:16).
As the Holy Ghost, He dwells within believers today with power and comfort (John 14:26; 2 Corinthians 3:17).
We believe that Jesus is the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and that in Him, God has revealed Himself completely to mankind.
“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD.” — Deuteronomy 6:4
“In him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” — Colossians 2:9
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and living Word of God — written by holy men as they were moved by the Spirit (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21).
It is our final authority for faith and life. We believe there is one true interpretation of Scripture through the revelation of the Holy Ghost, though there may be many personal applications (John 16:13).
We study, obey, and live by the Word of God, for it is “a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path” (Psalm 119:105).
We believe that Jesus Christ is God manifested in flesh (1 Timothy 3:16; John 1:14).
He came to earth to reveal Himself to humanity and to restore a personal relationship with us through His death, burial, and resurrection (John 3:16–17; Romans 5:8).
Jesus was both fully God and fully man, the one true Savior of the world. Through His crucifixion, He shed His blood for our sins, and through His resurrection, He gives us eternal life to all who believe and obey His gospel (Romans 6:23; John 11:25–26).
We believe that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). Because of sin, humanity was separated from God and destined for death and eternal judgment (Romans 6:23). There is nothing we can do by our own good works to save ourselves from sin — only through the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ are we redeemed (Ephesians 2:8–9).
The plan of salvation was made possible through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1–4). He paid the price for our sins on the cross so that we could have forgiveness, freedom, and eternal life.
To obey the gospel, we must follow the same pattern of death, burial, and resurrection in our own lives (Romans 6:4):
• We repent of our sins — dying to our old life (Acts 3:19).
• We are baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins — buried with Him in water (Acts 2:38; Acts 22:16).
• We are filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost, evidenced by speaking in other tongues — raised in newness of life and power (Acts 2:4; Acts 1:8; Romans 8:11).
Through this new birth experience of water and Spirit (John 3:5), we enter into covenant relationship with God and become partakers of His righteousness, grace, and mercy. Though we did not deserve it, Jesus made a way for us to be reconciled to Him, to live in victory, and to have everlasting life.
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” — Acts 4:12
We believe that baptism is essential to salvation and is the biblical act of being buried with Christ and rising to walk in newness of life (Romans 6:4).
Jesus declared, “Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God” (John 3:5).
Therefore, we baptize by full immersion in water in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, as commanded in Acts 2:38.
Baptism represents the death of the old man and the birth of the new, a public act of surrender and obedience to God’s Word (Acts 22:16; Colossians 2:12).
We believe the baptism of the Holy Ghost is the Spirit of God dwelling within us, giving us power to live a victorious life and to be witnesses (Acts 1:8).
The initial evidence of receiving the Holy Ghost is speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance (Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44–46; Acts 19:6).
The Holy Ghost is God’s presence in us — He comforts, leads, and transforms us daily (John 14:26; Romans 8:11).
Through His Spirit, we walk in newness of life and experience a divine relationship with our Creator.
We believe the Church is the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:12–14). No one person is the Church alone — together we are the body, united through the Spirit.
The Church is not a place for perfect people, but for imperfect people being made whole through the power of Jesus Christ.
Just as a hospital is for the sick, the Church is where the broken come to be healed, restored, and renewed through the Word, prayer, and fellowship (Hebrews 10:24–25; Acts 2:42–47).
In unity and love, we grow together to fulfill God’s mission on earth.
We believe that prayer is how we communicate with God and build a personal relationship with Him (Philippians 4:6; 1 Thessalonians 5:17). Through prayer, we draw near to God, and He draws near to us (James 4:8). Prayer is not just a ritual — it is a lifestyle of faith, worship, and dependence on the Lord.
We believe in the power of prayer to heal, deliver, and restore. The Bible declares, “They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” (Mark 16:18). We believe that miracles, signs, and wonders did not end with the early Church but continue today through the power of Jesus’ name (Hebrews 13:8; Acts 4:30).
Prayer brings both spiritual and physical miracles, for nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37). Through prayer, God changes hearts, heals bodies, strengthens the weak, and reveals His will to His people. We stand firm in faith, believing that when we pray according to His Word, God hears and answers (1 John 5:14–15).
